Sustainability
The Leonardo Royal Cologne Bonn Airport is also setting a clear example when it comes to sustainability: A photovoltaic system on the roof enables independent energy supply on an environmentally friendly basis, als an e-charging station can be used by the guest to charge their electric car. The food concept of the house is also climate-friendly: the Levantine cuisine is low in meat, most of the dishes are vegetarian and cause hardly any greenhouse gas emissions. The products come from regional production, plastic packaging and disposable products are largely avoided. The water at the breakfast buffet can also be taken through a filter tap, without any environmentally harmful packaging or transport routes.
And: With the “Green Option“, guests have the opportunity to forgo their room cleaning in favor of social projects.

The food concept at the hotel focuses on refined Levantine cuisine – it stands for fresh ingredients and subtle flavors from the Middle East and provides renewed energy before, between and after creative meetings. In this way, the team brings the Israeli roots of the hotel group to the table of the guests. No matter what time you feel a little hungry in the Leonardo Royal Cologne, the F&B departments are open day and night and provide you with culinary delights. If you have forgotten something before your flight or upon arrival, you can buy various items in your Grab & Go Bar, such as snacks, drinks and various hygiene and cosmetic items.

LEVANTINE CUISINE: SOUL FOOD TO SHARE
Levantine cuisine is one of the healthiest and oldest cuisines in the world. It convinces with a combination of lots of vegetables, little meat and aromatic spices. In keeping with our Israeli roots, many of our establishments offer the diverse small dishes for sharing. According to Levantine tradition, enjoyment takes place in company: Family-style, you share various specialties in small bowls, called mezze, at the table. A relaxed meal together is the ideal way to end a long day of meetings.

Each room is equipped with modern and tasteful elements, air conditioning, flat-screen TV, minibar, a work desk and a stylish bathroom with rain shower. A highlight is the unusual building architecture, inspired by aviation: the three-dimensional facade reflects the turbulence of an airfoil and is a real eye-catcher, these elements can also be found in the interior of the hotel.
